Dementia Care Apprenticeships - Overview

The number of people living with Dementia in the UK is increasing at a dramatic rate with estimates of the condition affecting the lives of 1 in 88 people in present times to 1 in 3 over the course of the next 40 years.

Organisations providing care services will have an increasing need for staff with professional skills to help understand, care for and treat individuals with this challenging condition.

Develop your staff

Developing your staff through an Apprenticeship with Locomotivation will ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their responsibilities. The Health & Social Care Apprenticeship also provides staff with the key skills required within the workplace such as improving their literacy and numeracy and an awareness of employment rights and responsibilities.

Dementia Care Apprenticeships - Funding

Funding is available to those who meet certain eligibility for Apprenticeships.

Apprenticeships require a number of qualifications to be completed to complete their framework.

NVQs and other qualifications can be purchased directly by a learner or an employer when Apprenticeship funding is not available. Please call us to discuss these options.
