Funded training opportunities in Dorset to be extended until March 2019

28 June 2018

The Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) Programme extended to enable SME businesses in Dorset to continue to upskill and develop their staff at no cost.

Locomotivation’s contract with SERCO, who are managing the Skills Support for the Workforce contract across Dorset, funded by the European Social Fund, has been extended from 31st July 2018 to 31st March 2019.

This will allow Locomotivation to continue to offer recognised accredited qualifications such as full Diplomas, Certificates and Awards in Hospitality, Sport & Leisure, Business Admin, Sales, Customer Service and Team Leading to any SME busineses or volunteers within Dorset.

Locomotivation can also create bespoke training programmes based around the specific needs of businesses. These can take the form of workshops, online and offline courses or individual qualification units.

Business are urged to take advantage of this opportunity as soon as possible to enable participants to complete their training before the funding expires in March 2019.

Register your interest or view more details of the programme and the types of qualifications on offer from our Skills Support for the Workforce page.
