Locomotivation rated Good in recent Ofsted inspection 03 February 2020 We have been officially judged GOOD by Ofsted following an inspection in December. The report focuses on our high standards of apprentice engagement with training, and acknowledges how we effectively develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours that improve apprentice’s effectiveness in the workplace. Sarah-Jane Bowley, Quality Manager said: “We are very pleased to maintain a Good Ofsted rating, especially in such a challenging and changing environment. We are particularly proud that the report highlights apprentice’s achievement, our experienced staff and demonstrates how well we work with employers.” The report states that our leaders have a clear picture for each curriculum area and are committed to developing young people’s and adult’s careers. As a result, apprentices have a clear understanding of why they are doing an apprenticeship, its value to them and to their employers. Sarah-Jane adds “The Ofsted grading is part of a great start to the new decade for Locomotivation. With some new employers joining us and an increase in the number of apprentices in training, we see a bright future ahead.”
