Warehouse & Special Equipment Operative Apprentice Medequip Community Equipment, Bristol
You will be carrying out a range of moving, packaging and stock-taking roles and duties in a warehouse environment, including use of warehouse systems and processes. You will learn how to order, maintain and despatch ‘special’ equipment, and how to work effectively in a warehousing team, including when under pressure, and to agreed deadlines.

What you will do in your working day
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Receiving goods in
- Picking and putting to bays orders for technicians
- Racking and storing new and recycled goods
- Learning what a ‘special’ is
- Logging ‘specials’ on IT system
- General warehouse cleaning and tidying
The training you will be getting
- You will work towards gaining a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship
- You will also work towards your level 1/2 Functional Skills certificates in English and Maths, if equivalent not already held
- All training will be carried out at your normal place of work, within your normal working hours.
- You will be given 6 hours per week for your apprenticeship work

- Possibility of full-time offer at completion.
